Wag More Bark Less and join the future of dog training

Today there is a wide choice of certification programs on offer to dog trainers, and we have seen equally as many come and go in the past. A certification program is only as good as its reputation, and Learning About Dogs has already designed and implemented a rigourous quality assurance system to ensure you get the best from your investment. Clients would find consistency across the courses taught by certified professionals anywhere in the world, which stand for high quality, accessible teaching, provided by teachers with a depth of experience and understanding of the scientific principles behind their advice. Methodology would be appropriate to the curriculum but based on the clicker training principles of choice and life long learning.

Certified professionals would be required to ensure their knowledge and skills are equal to the demands of their clients, and take responsibility for ensuring that the very best methods are available.

To obtain full certification completion of the relevant course is required and successful assessment at either Certificate for those assisting with teaching or only teaching one to one, and Diploma for those running classes, courses or groups.

To maintain the certified status a minimum number of credits for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) must be obtained within 2 years. Credits may be awarded for external (non-Learning About Dogs) courses, details on application.

Accreditation for Prior Achievement (APA) will be awarded for those who have already completed the Teaching People Teaching Dogs Certificate or Diploma.
