Clicker Training Courses
Clicker Training can be applied when communicating with any type of dog (even deaf ones). It enables us to teach exceptionally complicated behaviours or very simple behaviours to dogs who have learning difficulties.
... more about clicker training
These courses aim to teach you clicker training that can be used for any dog in your future.
The Clicker Trainers Course begins with:
Introduction Days A & B, followed by the
Clicker Skills Workshops & Weekends which can be attended in any order and as many times as you like until you feel confident with your skills.
Clicker training can give you wonderful and unique quality time with your dog, exploring all the fascinating techniques and developing a real sense of achievement. Clicker training is also becoming an essential skill in communication with all animals and you can progress to Certification with the Learning About Dogs Competency Assessment Programme (CAP). Assessment days are held regularly at Wagmore or you can present your evidence for video assessment.
An Intermediate Course (CAP3) can be followed in a 5 day workshop or through the one day workshops scheduled through the year, and develops the basic skills to be able to teach complex and compound behaviours. Data gathering is an essential part of these workshops.
The Advanced Projects Workshops are only scheduled once a year and individual trainers usually study at a distance on the COLLAR courses.
Clicker Training courses are also available as online COLLAR Courses
